How do you do...

...how does it feel to be so high and are you happy?

And if our fates have all been wrapped around your finger
And if you wrote the script then why the troublemakers?

Food is good.

Sometimes you have to go a long way to prove things. Even if it turns out that you're only proving things to yourself.

I'm a green?

GREEN

You are a very calm and contemplative person. Others are drawn to your peaceful, nurturing nature.

Find out your color at QuizMeme.com!

Lot's of sites are telling I'm a green. Wikipedia's color psychology article says this color is associated with balance, which is a good thing I suppose, but I'm far from balanced. =However, I do like green a lot, for people that don't me. People that do, isn't this interesting.

Here's another one:

you are paleturquoise
#AFEEEE

Your dominant hues are green and blue. You're smart and you know it, and want to use your power to help people and relate to others. Even though you tend to battle with yourself, you solve other people's conflicts well.

Your saturation level is low - You stay out of stressful situations and advise others to do the same. You may not be the go-to person when something really needs done, but you know never to blow things out of proportion.

Your outlook on life is bright. You see good things in situations where others may not be able to, and it frustrates you to see them get down on everything.

Classy...

O RLY OWL

Colours

Your Existing Situation

Hopes to obtain an improved position and greater prestige, so that he can procure for himself more of the things he has had to do without.

Your Stress Sources

Wants to overcome a feeling of emptiness and to bridge the gap which he feels separates himself from others. Anxious to experience life in all its aspects, to explore all its possibilities, and to live it to the fullest. He therefore resents any restriction or limitation being imposed on him and insists on being free and unhampered.

Your Restrained Characteristics

Able to achieve satisfaction through sexual activity but is inclined to be emotionally withdrawn, which prevents him from becoming deeply involved.

Believes that he is not receiving his share--that he is neither properly understood or adequately appreciated. Feels that he is being compelled to conform, and close relationships leave him without any sense of emotional involvement.

Willing to become emotionally involved as he feels rater isolated and alone. Egocentric and therefore quick to take offense, though he tries to avoid open conflict.

Egocentric and therefore quick to take offense. Able to obtain physical satisfaction from sexual activity but tends to hold aloof emotionally.

Your Desired Objective

Seeks success, stimulation, and a life full of experience. Wants to develop freely and to shake off the shackles of self-doubt, to win, and to live intensely. Likes contacts with others and is enthusiastic by nature. Receptive to anything new, modern, or intriguing; has many interests and wants to expand his fields of activity. Optimistic about the future.

Your Actual Problem

Fights against restriction or limitation, and insists on developing freely as a result of his own efforts.

Your Actual Problem #2

The fear that he might be prevented from achieving the things he wants leads him to play his part with an urgent and hectic intensity.

Maybe this is one of those things where they can tell anyone anything and it will sound true. I'll take it again in a couple weeks and see. =/

Hmm.

Time is 11:21 PM, Tuesday, September 19, 2006.

I'm hungry.
I feel like eating Chinese food.
Maybe some Dim Sum stuff, or bread.
I don't have any.

*Sigh, depression.

//edit

Taiwanese ready-meals are pretty good. Fried glutinous rice. Even comes with sweet chili sauce and a seaweed soup thing. Dried seaweed grows when you add moisture, like a sponge. It's kind of like tissue-paper for arts-and-crafts.. I can see why white people wouldn't eat it. I wouldn't eat beetles from the middle east or wherever they eat them(globetrekker videos from Rapaport's class freshman year @@). But then again, at least seaweed doesn't crawl around in your mouth.

by the way, does anyone else just browse flickr photos?

世界的眼淚

As I get older, I've found my interests are changing. I stopped watching TV over a year and a half ago now, and lately I've found I don't care as much for fictional novels anymore as well. Anyone who knows me a little should know I used to read quite a bit. Perhaps it is just not as many good books are being published, or I'm not aware of them. I think it's the internet though, and how easy it is to get lost it its vastness. My friend recently told me he thought real things are boring and he prefers animes, etc. To me, however, there is nothing more interesting and fascinating than the story, past, present, and future, of our real world. The fantasies are really starting to seem like a waste of time. Anyway, this doesn't have anything to do with what I wanted to post about.

Read This

I wonder how many Americans think the US doesn't torture people. I wonder how people can stand to be "comfortable", with the condition the world is in. I wonder if they even believe things like this really happen. I wonder if maybe that's the trick to happiness, ignorance. I wonder if I'll ever stop feeling so restless. A science fiction theme, wouldn't it be nice if there was a hegemony with a capable leader and world peace? But alas, it is not to be.

The arcana of religion, I really don't get it. I wish I could. Blargh, such a messy post, but I'm tired and don't know how to eloquently put what I wanted to say. Forgive me.

And I meant it, go read it.

Hero to Zero

In the life of the hero and star, the day comes.

When he tastes his bile ascend unto his tongue,

As the rest of him descends into oblivion.

The day comes when she, the once worshipped,

Now feels like a drained and discarded canister

Left to rot among the unwanted and the forgotten

Move On - Rain

Ok, I uploaded a new song. Unfortunately, the site I usually use has a 7 MB size limit so I had to use myfilehut with its annoying ad. Spent an hour trying to figure out a way around it but I'm just not familiar with php. It somehow plays this filehut2.mp3 6-second ad first and then plays the actual song separately.. but it's a .php file???!!?? If anyone knows how to get around this please inform me.

Update of September 05

Scott started a blog too. The song is good, similar to j-rock style. Would be better if they could sing, but maybe that's part of the essence of it.

Going to begin reading A Clockwork Orange this week.

Jay's new album starts with a bang, and quickly loses its excitement. Such a disappointment. Listening to a playlist of Shakira, Keny Arkana, and some euro-dance stuff right now.

the second definition for cacophony is a discordant and meaningless mixture of sounds. the third is frequent use of discords of a harshness and relationship difficult to understand.

This is in Berlin, one of the cities on my must-visit list.

Blind

I've said my goodbyes

Made no excuse

I'm not in this game

to win or to loose

But you, I pity you fool

unable to see

the wedge that's been driven

between you and me

We've played our last scene

danced our last dance

your story goes on

but our chapter ends

And you, don't have a clue

what you've put me through

I made up my mind

gotta leave you behind

Tears make it hard to see

that I'm just a memory

Too blind to see

You're too blind to see

Too blind to see the signs

Too blind to see

You're to blind to see

That I'm leaving you behind

So open your eyes

open your eyes

can't you see I'm not in love

So open your eyes

open your eyes

just one look is enough

too blind to see
